T.G.I.F. (Thank God It's Friday) for kids is off to a great start! On September 19 we had 16 children attend. Lots of squeals and smiles, so they had a good time. We will meet each Friday night until the end of April 09. We will not meet during a Community Dinner or during school vacations/day's off. We will meet 6 pm to 7:30 pm. All children from ages 4-12 are welcomed. Teenagers can help.
Our church children are encouraged to invite their friends and strive to memorize a weekly Bible verse. We will have a Bible story, play games, sometimes have a craft, and end with a snack. We will also begin to raise awareness about missions and how our children would like to be involved.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1. Pray for this outreach to our community and God will touch the hearts of these children.
2. Volunteer as a helper, this can be as little or as often as your schedule allows.
3. Donate snacks or juice
4. Donate cups and napkins
5.* If your child has a special diet, please send them with their own snack.
6. If you are gifted in crafts, music, snack set up etc and would like to share your talent with our children please contact me @ (508) 476-9978
A special thank you to Spanish teacher John Nadeau who helped us with our "Fiesta Party." A special thank you to Adam Slator, Faith Plumb and Ken Nelson who have committed to help each Friday night. T.G.I.F. could not start out without them.
